Odin of Pre-Christian Europe:
Sorting "Odin" as used by a variety of people in a variety of cultic ways. Some of these people may have been members of warbands. Odin has been seen as a god, a wise ruler, Woden, a source of knowledge and poetry. He has had a contradictory history, but we can believe that the reality of the man can be approached.
